Ground - 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥, 𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩, 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Join us to ground yourself and re-centre, whilst learning the foundational asana of yoga. End your Tuesday the best way - meditation followed by gentle movement practice. This class is aimed at those who are new to yoga and wish to explore initiation into the practice. We provide blocks and straps, please bring your own mat. We have worked hard to try and develop a functional set of beginner classes, with an aim to improve joint health, co-ordination, balance, whilst incorporating elements of strength and flexibility. The practice is designed to help us to grow old gracefully, learning to work with our bodies to develop a sustainable practice. The classes involve a mixture of standing and floor based activities that should suit most abilities. Modifications and hands - on assistance can be provided to those who feel they would benefit. The classes begin and end with a brief meditation practice to help you relax and unwind. Find a little slice of heaven, and set yourself up for the week the best way! Come and ground down with us.
